Mich.-created app outlines helmet laws
SOUTHFIELD (AP) -- A local law firm wants to put the motorcycle helmet laws of the land into the hands of riders in the United States, Canada, Europe and Australia.
Southfield-based Buckfire & Buckfire PC said this week that it's created a free app that provides bikers information on helmet laws in those states, provinces and countries. The app is available for the iPhone and Android.
Attorney Lawrence Buckfire says the app grew out of his firm's creation of a U.S.-focused, state-by-state motorcycle helmet law information graphic.
The personal injury firm specializes in motorcycle accident cases.
