Restaurants take part in leukemia fund raiser
SOUTHFIELD (AP) -- Bagger Dave's restaurants in Michigan are helping to raise money this month for the Children's Leukemia Foundation.
Through Feb. 28, a number of Bagger Dave's locations in the state are taking part in the foundation's 2013 Hearts of Hope campaign.
Bagger Dave's patrons can support the foundation by buying a paper heart pinup for $1 at restaurants in Ann Arbor, Berkley, Oakland County's Bloomfield Township, Brighton, Kent County's Cascade Township, East Lansing, Grand Rapids, Holland, Novi and Macomb County's Shelby Township.
Those who buy the pinup can write personalized messages that will be displayed in the restaurants.
The campaign benefits the thousands of Michigan families affected by leukemia, lymphoma and related blood disorders who have turned to the Children's Leukemia Foundation of Michigan for financial help and emotional support.
