'Piñatas for Peace' raises funds to reduce bullying, stop violence

The Oakland Mediation Center (OMC) will host its 2nd Annual "Piñatas for Peace Fiesta" on Friday, May 3, 6 p.m. at the Troy Marriott.
The event celebrates Cinco de Mayo and features complimentary margaritas, hors d'oeuvres and a silent auction during cocktail hour; followed by a southwestern influenced dinner and awards ceremony.
Tickets are $100 per person. Proceeds from the event will fund programs that help to prevent and reduce bullying and violence in area schools. For additional information or to purchase tickets, visit www.mediation-omc.org or call 248-338-4280 ext. 227.
