Pre-registration open for May 18 county auction
Early online registration for Oakland County's Spring Auction is now open at oakgov.com/auction. The 2013 auction--which will feature items from classic cars, to Rolex watches, jewelry, and electronics--is scheduled for Saturday, May 18, at the county's Vehicle Operations Building, 1200 N. Telegraph, Building 16 East, in Pontiac.
"There are a lot of great items up for bid this year," said Oakland County Executive L. Brooks Patterson. "So, we are encouraging folks to pre-register in order to help ease long lines the day of the auction."
Registration is just a few simple steps. Go to oakgov.com/auction; click the "Online Registration" link; enter the registrant's name and address; and agree to the terms of the auction. After clicking the submit button, it will redirect the user to a confirmation page which indicates registration is complete.
Oakland County hosts its Spring Auction each year at the government campus in Pontiac in order to sell confiscated and recovered stolen property as well as county used equipment and vehicles. For additional information, call the Oakland County Spring Auction information line at 248-858-1015.
