Health care changes explored

In anticipation of changes in the health care industry due to the Affordable Care Act, Oakland University (OU) School of Business Administration presented a symposium titled “The Physician’s Practice: Emerging Issues” on Thursday and Friday, May 9-10, at the Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Auburn Hills.

Among those taking part in the program were (left to right) Cooley Graduate Insurance Law Program Director Lisa Demoss, OU School of Business Administration Dean Mohan Tanniru, Cooley Prof. Monica Navarro, and Anthony Colarossi with Plante Moran.

Navarro noted that the symposium would “explore new payment methods, new health care delivery models, process improvement, and operational integration necessary to be successful in the health care reform era.”
