On Tuesday, June 18, the Federal Bar Association – Eastern District of Michigan Chapter conducted a lunch and panel presentation as part of the College Pre-Law Summer Institute (CPSI) at Cooley Law School in Auburn Hills.
Happy to help with the students were (left to right) Cooley Assistant Dean Lisa Halushka, Elizabeth Stafford of the U.S. Attorney’s Office Eastern District of Michigan, and Saura Sahu of Miller Canfield.
“We’re here to encourage college level students from diverse, disadvantaged backgrounds to persue careers in the law,” Stafford said. “That’s so important because we need the legal community to reflect the diversity of the community and there are a lot of challenges to that now.”
