As part of the College Pre-Law Summer Institute (CPSI) at Cooley Law School, Oakland County Circuit Court Judge Leo Bowman (far left) invited the students to his courtroom for a tour and introduction to the judiciary on Thursday, June 27.
The CPSI is being held at Cooley in Auburn Hills for the fourth year in partnership with Oakland University and the American Bar Association’s Council of Legal Education Opportunity (CLEO).
It offers underprivileged students from 13 colleges and universities in five states and the country of Lebanon an opportunity to study the critical thinking skills necessary to succeed on the Law School Admission Test (LSAT) and in law school.
