The Hispanic Bar Association of Michigan (HBAM) hosted its annual Holiday Party on Thursday, Nov. 7, at Vicente’s Cuban Cuisine in Detroit.
Among those enjoying the evening were (left to right) HBAM board member Kelsey Switzer of Honigman, Miller, Schwartz, & Cohn LLP; Wayne County Circuit Court Judge Maria Oxholm; HBAM President Alfredo Casab of Dawda, Mann, Mulcahy, & Sadler PLC; Wayne County Circuit Court Judge Patricia Perez Fresard; and HBAM Secretary Amber Cervantez of Garcia Law Group PLLC.
“We are here to celebrate the achievements of Hispanics in our community,” Casab said.
Among the achievements noted was the bar passage of three of HBAM’s student members and the recent election of the first Hispanic Detroit City Council member Raquel Castaneda-Lopez.
