Intellectual property law firm Brinks Gilson & Lione hosted its 2nd annual open house, with the theme “Proud to Be in Detroit,” on Wednesday, Jan. 15, in its offices in Stroh River Place in Detroit.
Kelly Burris (far right), managing partner of the Detroit office, presents a model car to firm President Jim Sobieraj as Jerome and Roberta Sobieraj look on.
A shuttle service carried guests from the Detroit International Auto Show previews at Cobo Hall.
The office is located in the same building as the new Elijah J. McCoy United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) which opened in July 2012 and is the nation’s first satellite USPTO office.
The Detroit office provides an on-site location for Brinks and its domestic and international clients to participate in on-site patent examination and administrative trial proceeding.
