Cooley Law School’s Sixth Annual Charity Benefit will raise funds to support the Oakland Mediation Center’s implementation of the Olweus Bullying Prevention Program (OBPP). The event is being held on Sunday, June 1, at Cooley’s Auburn Hills campus, Room 145, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
“It is important for the Cooley community to give back,” said Lisa Halushka, acting associate dean and professor at Thomas M. Cooley Law School. “This event is a fun way for Cooley to assist Oakland Mediation Center’s implementation of OBPP to produce safer learning environments.”
The event, which is open to the public, will feature live music by The Rumble V Band, with lead vocalist Mark Hurst, a Cooley graduate; a silent action; and live comedy by Cooley’s resident comedian, Keith Stickley.
The cost to attend the event is $20 for individuals or $130 for a table of eight. To attend, register online at: http://events.constantcontact.com/register/event?llr=qfymg5cab&oeidk=a07e92uqcrz4a4d3c37, or by calling Judie Dzierbicki at 248-751-7800.
