Wayne State approves 3.2% tuition increase
DETROIT (AP) - Wayne State University students will see a 3.2 percent tuition increase under a budget approved by the Detroit school's board of governors.
The Wayne State board approved a $582 million operating budget and the tuition increase last Friday.
Tuition will increase $10.45 per credit hour for in-state undergraduate students taking 30 credit hours.
Wayne State says it will raise its financial aid by more than $900,000 to help offset the tuition hike.
