Winter Blast returns to Campus Martius

DETROIT (AP) - Dates have been announced for a popular festival that attracts tens of thousands of people to downtown Detroit each winter.
The Meridian Winter Blast will be held Feb. 6-8 at Campus Martius Park.
The event is presented by Quicken Loans. Meridian Health Plan is the title sponsor.
This will be the festival's 11th year. More than 75,000 people attended in 2013.
Ice skating will be free at the Campus Martius rink during the festival. There also will be free snowshoeing, an ice garden, dogsled demonstrations, heated tents, an outdoor carnival, skating exhibitions and live music.
