Wayne State University Law School’s Damon J. Keith Center for Civil Rights presented “After Ferguson: A Panel Discussion” on Wednesday, Jan. 21.
Among those discussing the legal, social, moral, and practical implications of the Michael Brown case in Ferguson, Mo., and the Eric Garner case in New York City were (seated, left to right) moderator Stephen Henderson, managing director/opinion and community engagement for the Detroit Free Press; Portia Roberson, director of the City of Detroit's Civil Rights and Justice Division; and Steven Winter, Wayne Law’s Walter S.
