On Monday, April 6, Oakland County Commissioners Janet Jackson and Nancy Quarles have partnered with the City of Southfield’s Human Services Division to host a special “Community Resource Fair.” This event will provide information for individuals seeking access to services and information from various City of Southfield and Oakland County Departments.
Participants will learn about the various programs and services tailored to enhance the quality of life in the community. The Resource Fair will be held at the City of Southfield’s Public Library located at 26300 Evergreen Road, in the Meeting Room. The fair is scheduled from 5:30 to 8 p.m.
Invited service providers for this year’s fair include:
• City of Southfield Departments.
• Community Network Services (CNS).
• DTE Energy.
• Interfaith Organizations.
• Legal Aid & Defenders Association.
• Lighthouse of Oakland County.
• Michigan Works/Career Center.
• Oakland County Commissioners.
• Oakland County Health Department.
• Oakland County Treasurer.
• Regional Transit Authority.
• South Oakland Shelter (SOS).
• Southfield Youth Assistance.
• State Department of Human Services.
• Surburban Mobility Authority for Regional Transportation (SMART).
• Transportation of Southfield Seniors (TOSS).
