Attorney to host event benefiting local art center

Jessica Woll, managing partner of Woll & Woll PC, a divorce and family law firm with a niche expertise in complex family law issues, and her husband Don Stewart, will host this year’s annual Fine Art of Summer fundraiser to benefit the Birmingham Bloomfield Art Center (BBAC) on Thursday, June 25, at their Bloomfield Hills home.

The BBAC serves to connect people of all ages and abilities with visual arts education, exhibitions and other creative experiences. The annual Fine Art of Summer event is held to support the education and ArtAccess programs of BBAC and is staged in a home of architectural distinction or one with a significant art collection.

“Don and I are honored to host the Fine Art of Summer event benefitting the Birmingham Bloomfield Art Center, which provides incomparable benefits to our community,” Woll said. “It is our privilege to support this community gem and the resources it provides. The evening will surely be memorable.”

In addition to fine food and drinks, attendees will be able to view Woll and Stewart’s collection of contemporary and Asian art and artifacts from their world travels.

“The Fine Art of Summer has become a unique event and a way for members to give back to the BBAC,” Annie VanGelderen, president and CEO of BBAC said. “The BBAC continues to grow and expand the opportunities available through our ArtAccess program, such as providing opportunities to experience artistic expression for individuals with Alzheimer’s disease and special needs as well as for under-privileged youth to experience artistic expression. We are honored to be able to serve the community and it wouldn’t be possible without the generosity and support of benefactors like Jessica Woll and Don Stewart.”

The event runs from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Limited individual tickets are now on sale and are $150 per person. To learn more about the event, visit http://bbartcenter.org/bbac/fine-art-summer/.
