PONTIAC (AP) - The former director of a Detroit-area housing commission will spend time in prison after authorities say she violated probation terms from her sentence for breaking into apartments and stealing prescription drugs.
Deborah Wilson was sentenced to three years of probation in February after pleading no contest to two counts of second-degree home invasion and possession of oxycodone. She's accused of violating probation by showing up intoxicated to meetings with her probation officer twice and leading police on a high-speed chase in the Kalamazoo area.
An Oakland County judge sentenced Wilson to one to 15 years in prison Monday.
Wilson was director of the Ferndale Housing Commission for 27 years. She received a $130,000 severance package after leaving her job following her arrest.
