The Michigan Defense Trial Counsel (MDTC) conducted its Annual Meeting and Conference May 12-13 at the Atheneum Suite Hotel in Detroit. On Friday, May 13, it hosted an awards banquet reception during which honors were presented to (left to right) Young Lawyers Golden Gavel Award honoree Paul Hudson of Miller Canfield; Young Lawyers Golden Gavel Award honoree Amber Girbach of Hewson & Van Hellemont PC; Excellence in Defense Award honoree Ralph Valitutti of Kitch, Drutchas, Wagner, Valitutti, & Sherbrook; and Excellence in Defense Award honoree Brian MacDonald of Cline, Cline, & Griffin PC.
