The Michigan Defense Trial Counsel (MDTC) is currently accepting nominations for the Seventh Annual Young Lawyers Section Golden Gavel Award.
Attorneys are invited to submit a nomination, with particular emphasis on the enumerated criteria. Letters of recommendation from any source which supports the candidate are also welcome.
Candidates need not be a current member of the MDTC. However, each must be a member in good standing with the State Bar of Michigan, and serve as defense counsel.
The award is to be presented as a part of MDTC's Legal Excellence Awards which takes place on March 9, 2017 at the Detroit Historical Museum.
