Secrest Wardle’s Troy location hosted a mobile mammogram unit on Thursday, Oct. 20, in support of Breast Cancer Awareness month. Eleven employees signed up to receive examinations – three of whom have never had a mammogram before. The mobile mammogram unit utilized the latest technology and was run by friendly and courteous St. John Providence staff. The Mobile Mammogram Unit, provided by St. John Providence and the Anthony L. Soave Family, is committed to providing “high-quality mammograms to as many women as possible to help reduce the risk of breast cancer.” For more information about the Mobile Mammogram Unit and to learn how to schedule a visit to a church, community center, civic group, neighborhood, or work-place, visit www.stjohnprovidence.org/services/womens-health/breast-care/mammography/mobile-mammography.
