Cameron joins appeals court

Michigan Court of Appeals Chief Judge Michael J. Talbot (left) swore in the newest Court of Appeals member, Judge Thomas Cameron (right), on Thursday, July 13. Cameron was appointed to the court by Gov. Rick Snyder July 10 to fill the vacancy created by the appointment of Justice Kurtis Wilder to the Michigan Supreme Court. Cameron, a former Wayne County Circuit Court judge, earned a bachelor’s degree from Western Michigan University and his law degree from Wayne State ­University Law School.
