100th anniversary recognized

On Thursday, Aug. 10, the Oakland County Board of Commissioners recognized the 100th Anniversary of the United Way for Southeastern Michigan during its meeting in the Board of Commissioners Auditorium at the Oakland County Courthouse in Pontiac. Dr. Herman Gray (third from left), president & CEO of United Way for Southeastern Michigan, proudly accepted the board’s proclamation honoring the United Way. On hand for the presentation were (left to right) Board Chair Michael J. Gingell along with Commissioners Shelley Goodman Taub, Janet Jackson, David E. S. Bowman, and Helaine Zack.
