The Oakland County Bar Association will present “An Attorney’s Guide to Financial Statements and Accounting” on Tuesday, Sept. 25, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the OCBA offices, 1760 South Telegraph Road, Suite 100 in Bloomfield Hills.
Financial issues arise in many areas of the law, so it is important to understand the implications of financial statements. This seminar will provide an understanding of accounting practices, principles and terms. The experts also will present valuable tips on interpreting financial statements, profit and loss reports, and business valuations. Presenters include Rodney L. Crawford and Christine L. Hoppe of Crawford & Winiarski Financial Consulting.
Pre-registration costs are $40 for OCBA members; $30 for OCBA new lawyers (P77000 and above), paralegals, and students; and $60 for all non-members.
Cost at the door is $50 for OCBA members; $40 for OCBA New Lawyers (P77000 and above), paralegals, and students; and $75 for all non-members.
