Justices of the Michigan Supreme Court, along with judges of the Michigan Court of Appeals, Eaton, Genesee, Ingham, Jackson, Livingston, Macomb, Oakland, Washtenaw, and Wayne County circuit courts, and U.S. District Courts for the Western and Eastern Districts, in addition to Tribal Appellate Court justices and Tribal Court judges have been invited to attend the Michigan Defense Trial Counsel’s Meet the Judges event on Thursday, Oct. 4, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Sheraton Detroit Novi Hotel, 21111 Haggerty Road in Novi.
The reception will provide an opportunity for members of the judiciary and bar to interact in a friendly and relaxed environment, free of the stresses of the courtroom.
The event is free to all judicial attendees, $85 for members (member rates apply to staff of MDTC members), and $135 for non-members which includes membership fee. Complimentary hors d’oeuvres and an open bar will be provided. Capacity is limited so early registration is encouraged.
