The newest inductees to the Wayne Law Alumni Wall of Fame were celebrated Wednesday, Sept. 12, at Wayne State University Law School’s Damon J. Keith Center for Civil Rights in Detroit. This distinction is awarded to alumni who have distinguished themselves through outstanding contributions to their field. The latest inductees include Ernest Goodman, ’28 (posthumously); retired Michigan Supreme Court Justice Marilyn Kelly, ’71; Elliott Hall, ’65; David Hempstead, ’75; and Michael Pitt, ’74. On hand for the Sept. 12 celebration were (left to right) David Hempstead of Bodman PLC; Wayne County Circuit Court Judge Edward Ewell Jr.; Michael Pitt of Pitt, McGehee, Palmer, Rivers PC; retired Justice Marilyn Kelly, Wayne Law distinguished jurist in residence; Elliott Hall of Elliott Hall PLLC; and Bill Goodman of Goodman & Hurwitz PC.
