TROY, (AP) - Kelly Services Inc. (KELYB) on Wednesday reported a fourth-quarter loss of $23.9 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.
On a per-share basis, the Troy, Michigan-based company said it had a loss of 62 cents. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, came to 87 cents per share.
The staffing company posted revenue of $1.41 billion in the period.
For the year, the company reported profit of $22.9 million, or 58 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $5.51 billion.
Kelly Services shares have fallen 23 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has decreased 19 percent in the last 12 months.
