The American Constitution Society lawyer chapter and student chapter is hosting a criminal justice reform event with Valerie Newman of the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office, Conviction Integrity Unit, on Tuesday, Nov. 12.
Discussions will cover criminal justice reform, the Central Park Five case, and feature insight from an exoneree. Lunch will be provided.
The event will be presented from 1 to 2 p.m. in room 335 at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, 651 E. Jefferson Ave. in Detroit.
