The Oakland County Bar Association will host “Bar Night In: Trivia Night” on Thursday, September 10, from 8 to 9 p.m. online via Zoom.
This new evening series will feature a different virtual adventure each month. From Drag Queen Bingo to a scavenger hunt to a night of improv with Go Comedy, participants will have a blast with fellow OCBA members all from the comfort of their own homes.
This month’s BYOB event will feature a fun trivia contest hosted by a Sporcle trivia MC. Attendees will be broken into teams.
After the trivia MC asks a question, teams will be placed into individual breakout rooms to privately discuss the question and come up with their answer. Each team that answers correctly gets points. After several rounds, teams enter a final round where they bid on how many points they want to risk (sort of like jeopardy). The team with the most points at the end wins fun OCBA swag and bragging rights.
Cost for the event is $10 for OCBA members and $20 for non-mebers.
Details on how to join the Zoom event will be distributed in a separate email to those who pre-registered one to two days prior to the event. Anyone who does not get that information emailed and is interested in participating can contact the OCBA at 248-334-3400.
