Michigan Defense Trial Counsel continues its winter webinar series

The Michigan Defense Trial Counsel (MDTC) continues its winter webinar series on “Mastering the Craft: Winning Methods in the Dying Art of Trial Advocacy.”  Part 2 will take place Friday, November 6, from noon to 1:30 p.m. via Zoom and will be moderated by Javon David of Butzel Long.  Topics include:

• Be Your Best Advocate – 10 (or so) Tips to Improve Your Performance at Trial—Mike Weston, of Lederer, Weston, Craig PLC in Des Moines, Iowa, will discuss techniques for improving one’s performance as an advocate at trial.

• A View from the Bench – Judicial Perspective on Effective Trial Advocacy—A three judge panel of judges will discuss their experiences and suggestions for effectively presenting a case at trial.  The panel will feature Wayne County Circuit Court Judge David Allen, Ingham County Circuit Court Judge James Jamo, and Kent County Circuit Court Judge Curt Benson, with moderator Edward P. Perdue of Perdue Law Group PLLC.

The webinar will conclude with a Q&A session.
