The Women's Bar Association-Oakland County region of the Women Lawyers Association of Michigan-along with the Wayne County region of WLAM will present Empty Bowls Virtual Silent Auction on Thursday, November 12, beginning at 5:30 p.m.
This online event is open to all WLAM members and will include door prizes, a presentation by Empty Bowls, a cooking demonstration, and a bartending class. Additionally, finished bowls will be raffled off as keepsakes throughout the evening.
Empty Bowls Detroit raises money and awareness for the food program at Cass Community Social Services, a Detroit-based agency dedicated to providing food, housing, health services, and job programs to those in need.
