The 2021 Water Infrastructure Library Discussion series will begin with the year’s first virtual discussion being hosted in partnership with the Baldwin Public Library in Birmingham today from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Anyone interested in joining the virtual discussion should register at baldwinlib.org or call the library at 248-647-1700. A Zoom meeting link will be sent to those who have registered. Because of limited capacity, registration is required.
The free one-hour program will provide valuable information. The public will have an opportunity to ask an array of water, environmental and infrastructure-related questions following Oakland County Water Resources Commissioner Jim Nash’s brief presentation, “What You Need to Know About Water Below and Beyond.
“I want to thank the Baldwin Library in Birmingham for partnering with our effort to educate the public regarding water issues. Outreach to the public, like this, is very important. Our goal is for everyone to understand all the issues we face and to learn about the work we are doing to protect our waters,” said Nash.
For the fourth consecutive year, the Oakland County Water Resources Commissioner’s Office Library Discussion program continues to empower the public by providing a means for open and real-time dialogue. After the live discussion, the recorded Zoom meeting will be shared at waterresourceOC and at Baldwin Library on Facebook.
