The Michigan Defense Trial Counsel will host its Fifth Legal Excellence Awards as a virtual event to recognize the 2021 award recipients, followed by a happy hour.
The virtual event will take place via Zoom on Thursday, March 18, with the program from 7 to 8 p.m. and the happy hour from 8 to 9 p.m.
This year’s award recipients include:
• Judicial Award—Wayne County Circuit Court Judge Leslie Kim Smith
• Excellence in Defense Award—Michael J. Sullivan, Collins Einhorn Farrell PC
• Golden Gavel Award—Morgan D. Schut, Kemp Klein Law Firm
• MAJ - Respected Advocate Award—Michelle P. Crockett, Miller Canfield
• MDTC - Respected Advocate ?Award—Jabran G. Yasso, Sommers Schwartz PC
