On September 14, the Patriot Week organization in cooperation with the Oakland County Bar Association presented a program titled “Is America Fulfilling Its Promise of Equality? What Role and Responsibility Do Lawyers Have in Making Further Progress?” at the OCBA offices in Bloomfield Hills. Among the presenters were (left to right) Reginald Turner, president of the American Bar Association and member at Clark Hill; Oakland County Circuit Court Judges Kwamé Rowe and Yasmine Poles; Robin B. Wagner of Pitt, McGehee, Palmer, Bonanni, & Rivers; and moderator Lawrence Garcia, corporation counsel for the City of Detroit.
