The University of Detroit Mercy School of Law will present "Current Events in the Law Series: President Biden's Climate Change Agenda and the UN Climate Change Conference." The online program will take place Monday, November 1, from 1 to 2 p.m. via Zoom
As the United Nation's Climate Change Conference COP-26 convenes in Glasgow, Scotland, this program will explore the goals of the conference, President Biden's climate agenda, and local efforts towards climate justice.
Featured panelists: Michael B. Gerrard, Andrew Sabin Professor of Professional Practice and director, Sabin Center for Climate Change Law, Columbia Law School; and Jamesa Johnson Greer, climate justice director, Michigan Environmental Justice Coalition. Moderating the program will be Nick Schroeck, associate dean, Experiential Education Associate Professor of Law, Detroit Mercy Law.
