IRS division chief to speak at virtual Tax Conference November 8

Nikole Flax, commissioner of the Large Business & International Division at the Internal Revenue Service, will speak at the virtual 32nd Annual Philadelphia Tax Conference, November 8-9. The event is co-sponsored by the American Bar Association Section of Taxation and the nonprofit Philadelphia Tax Conference, established to foster education and to heighten awareness of fair and appropriate tax policy.

Flax will appear at a fireside chat on Monday, November 8, from 1:30 to 2:15 p.m.  In her current IRS role, Flax serves as the United States Competent Authority and is responsible for tax administration activities for domestic and foreign businesses with a U.S. tax reporting requirement and assets equal to or exceeding $10 million, as well as the Global High Wealth and International Individual Compliance programs.

Additionally, 10 sessions featuring panels of tax experts will provide an in-depth discussion and explanation of the latest federal, state and international legal developments and planning trends.
