The Wolverine Bar Association, the Association of Black Judges of Michigan (ABJM), and the D. Augustus Straker Bar Association will celebrate and extend gratitude to their presidents for another year of outstanding commitment and service during the 2021-22 bar year. The Annual Presidents’ Dinner will take place Wednesday, July 13, at the Detroit Athletic Club, 241 Madison in Detroit.
The event will honor Straker President Michael E. Hall, Wolverine President Kim L. Ward, and ABJM President Wayne County Circuit Court Judge Qiana D. Lillard.
Honorees with 50 years of law practice will also be celebrated. The keynote speaker for the event will be U.S. Attorney Dawn Ison, Eastern District of Michigan.
The Annual Presidents’ Dinner begins with a reception at 5 p.m. followed by the program at 6 p.m. Cost for the event is $65. To register, visit https://bit.ly/WBA-Presidents-Dinner.
