Law professor looks at possible war crimes by Russia

Wayne State University Law School will present a lecture on “Holding Russia Accountable for International Crimes in Ukraine” Wednesday, November 9, from 12:15 to 1:30 p.m.in the Spencer M. Partrich Auditorium.

What mechanisms are available to hold Russia and individual Russians accountable for international crimes committed in Ukraine? Professor David Scheffer of Northwestern Law School, who was the first U.S. Ambassador at Large for War Crimes and who represented the United States at the Rome Conference that finalized the treaty creating the International Criminal Court, will address this question.
