Judges take oath

Following the November 8, 2022 election, seven Oakland County Circuit Court judges were re-elected to the bench. Several of those judges were sworn in on Tuesday, December 6, in the Judicial Conference Room at the Oakland County Courthouse in Pontiac. Oakland County Circuit Court Chief Judge Jeffery S. Matis (far left) happily administered the oath of office to (left to right) Judge Daniel Patrick O’Brien, Judge Yasmine I. Poles, Judge Victoria A. Valentine, Judge Lisa Langton, Judge Cheryl A. Matthews, and Judge Kwamé L. Rowe.

Newly re-elected Oakland County Circuit Court Judge David M. Cohen (left) was also sworn in by Oakland County Circuit Court Chief Judge Jeffery S. Matis during a different ceremony.
