Candidates interested in running for the State Bar of Michigan's Judicial Tenure Commission, Representative Assembly, Board of Commissioners, or Young Lawyers Section Executive Council must submit their nominating petitions no later than April 30.

Petitions can be submitted via email to csharlow@michbar.org.
To vote in the 2023 election, all active members of the State Bar will receive their ballots via email by June 1 and ballots must be cast online by 11:59 p.m. June 15. To ensure receipt of a ballot and notifications about the election, members should make sure their current email address is on file at e.michbar.org.
