The Labor & Employment Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan will conduct the LELS Springboard "Anatomy of a Workplace Investigation" on Thursday, July 13, from 4 to 6 p.m. at The Community House, 380 S. Bates St. in Birmingham. A networking reception will follow the program.
Practitioners have all seen or experienced the impact that a well-conducted, or not so-well conducted, workplace investigation has on the underlying litigation. This year's Springboard event will feature a panel discussion by practitioners from both sides whose practice focuses on workplace investigations and arbitrators who are asked to credit, or discredit, such investigations in making their findings. Moderated by Susan Hiser, the program will also incorporate interactive table discussions.
