The Women’s Bar Association (WBA), Oakland County region of the Women Lawyers Association of Michigan, will present its next Book Club online Wednesday, August 2, beginning at 6 p.m. via Zoom.
For the August meeting, the club will be discussing “The Diamond Eye” by Kate Quinn. This historical fiction novel is loosely based on a true story. Mila Pavlichenko, a.k.a. “Lady Death” of the Red Army, is a Nazi-hunting Russian sniper. The novel tells the story of her life before, during, and after World War II, especially focusing on her thrilling post-war adventures.
