A Man-To-Man Youth Summit took place October 7 at Impact Church in Detroit with the aim to unite males of all ages and to provide them with the tools, resources, and knowledge to engage in productive discussions about life objectives, mental wellness, entrepreneurship, learning, employment, family, and academic development. Terry Whitfield Skillman of the Skillman Foundation was the featured speaker at the event. Among those spearheading the event were (left to right) Heather Hetheru Miller, executive director of Encourage Me I’m Young (EMIY); Calvin T. Mann, founder and president of EMIY; Detroit attorney Jermaine Wyrick; and Stacie Hunter, vice president and community manager for JP Morgan Chase in Detroit.
