The Real Property Law Section (RPLS) of the State Bar of Michigan will present “Recent Legislation and Hot Topics on the Horizon” online Thursday, January 18, from 3 to 4:30 p.m.
Speaking at the virtual program will be Jason Long, of Williams, Williams, Rattner, & Plunkett; and Tabitha Zimny of Karoub Associates. Brian Foley of Bodman is the program chair.
RPLS Legislative Committee Chair Jason Long will begin with a discussion of new legislation affecting real property that has been passed into law during the last year. RPLS lobbyist, Tabitha Zimny, will provide an update on bills that are currently pending in the state legislature.
