Law school hosts Public Interest Career Fair

Nearly 90 eager students and over 30 esteemed employers converged at Wayne State University Law School's annual Public Interest Career Fair on Monday, January 22. The event, organized by Wayne Law School's Office of Career and Professional Development, proved to be a resounding success.

In the weeks leading up to the fair, the Office of Career and Professional Development provided students with a comprehensive preparation guide. This guide equipped students with invaluable insights and strategies to navigate the event with confidence, ensuring they made the most out of every interaction.

As the day unfolded, students seized the opportunity to engage with attorneys representing a diverse range of employers. From nonprofit organizations dedicated to social justice causes to prestigious federal, state, and local government agencies, and Wayne Law's own Experiential Learning program, the array of opportunities was both inspiring and impressive.

The atmosphere buzzed with excitement and anticipation as students and employers engaged in meaningful conversations, exchanged contact information, and explored potential avenues for collaboration. Both students and employers lauded the event for its effectiveness in fostering genuine connections that will undoubtedly propel their respective goals forward.
