‘Legal Tech and Data Privacy’ explored

The Oakland County Bar Association’s New Lawyers Committee will present “New Developments in Legal Tech and Data Privacy — Answers to Questions You’ve Been Wanting to Ask and Those You Did Not Know You Should Be Asking” online Monday, April 22, from noon to 1:30 p.m. via Zoom.

This interactive webinar will feature several experts in the realm of developing legal technologies, data analytics, artificial intelligence, and data privacy participating in a moderated fireside-chat-style discussion concerning recent developments, risks and opportunities for lawyers and clients, frequent questions, and questions that lawyers and clients may not know that they should be asking to better prepare them to utilize new technologies and serve their clients.

Speaking at the program will be Danielle F. Bass of Honigman LLP, Jordan Galvin of Perkins Coie LLP, and moderator David Sheaffer of the Michigan Supreme Court.

Cost to pre-register for the online program is $35 for OCBA members; $25 for OCBA New Lawyers Committee members; $15 for OCBA new lawyers and paralegals; $45 for non-members; and OCBA students can attend for free.
