The State Appellate Defender Office and Criminal Defense Resource Center will present a virtual lunchtime training on “Working with Investigators” Tuesday, July 16, from noon to 1:30 p.m. via Zoom.
In this online training, attendees will learn instances and situations that require an investigator, tasks that investigators perform, suggested dos and don’ts for investigators and attorneys, and how to locate and choose an investigator.
Speaking at the training will be Felicia Legion, a professional investigator who focuses on interacting with clients and witnesses. She is the owner and operator of Inquiring Eyes LLC, an investigation firm that specializes in criminal defense and appeals. Her clients include individuals currently incarcerated, individuals fighting to return home, and individuals fighting to prevent incarceration. Her nonthreatening but firm approach has allowed her to speak with many witnesses that have been hesitant to talk and cooperate in the past.
