Association co-hosts ‘Law & Torah’ July 29

The Jewish Bar Association of Michigan (JBAM) teams up with Partners Detroit for its first installment of “Law & Torah” on Monday, July 29, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Platform18, 116 E. 7th St. in Royal Oak.

Attendees can pitch their perfect referral to other attorneys and learn about giving preferential treatment to Jewish owned businesses—bring business cards and be prepared to ask the group for the perfect client.  Rabbi Leiby Burnham will lecture. Kosher food and drinks will be provided.

Cost for the event is $18.  Law students can attend for free and a prayer will be offered to those taking the bar exam the following day. To purchase tickets, visit www.jewishbar.org/events.
