The Prosecuting Attorneys Association of Michigan and the Juvenile Justice &?School Safety Training Project will host a online “Juvenile Legal Update” online Thursday, August 14, from noon to 1 p.m. via Zoom.
The Justice for Kids & Communities Bill Package was signed into law on December 12, 2023, affecting a number of juvenile statutes. The statutory changes relate to delinquency cases and take effect October 1. 2024. Prosecutors and Assistant Prosecutors are encouraged to attend the online update to review the major changes and how they may relate to their work.
