Oakland County Health and Human Services is hosting “Health & Housing Summer Fest,” a free family fun and resource expo for Oakland County residents, on Monday, August 19, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Catalpa Oaks County Park, 27705 Greenfield Rd. in Southfield.
Residents can enjoy food and fun activities for kids to enjoy while connecting with free health, breastfeeding and housing resources. Event activities include:
• Bounce house, yard games and rock-climbing wall
• Bike and car seat raffles
• Free vision screenings, exams and glasses through Vision to Learn
• Free dental screenings for children entering Kindergarten
• Vaccine clinic for youth and adults
• Enroll in free health programs like WIC, Nutrition and home-visiting nursing
• Child passenger safety car seat demonstrations
