Clerk/Register brings services to Farmington and surrounding areas with upcoming Local Office Visit

Oakland County Clerk/Register of Deeds Lisa Brown is bringing the services of her office to Farmington and the surrounding area via an upcoming Clerk Local Office Visit (LOV) on Tuesday, September 24, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at the Farmington Community Library (FCL), 23500 Liberty St. in Farmington. Most transactions that people conduct with the County Clerk/Register of Deeds Office will be available.

“Clerk Local Office Visits are a convenient way for county residents to get the services they need from my office in their hometown,” said Brown. “Whether you visit our main office in Pontiac, our satellite office in Troy, a Clerk LOV near you, or access our online services, my goal is to ensure accessibility to the office’s services for all county residents.”

At the Local Office Visit residents can:

• Apply for a Concealed Pistol License (CPL)
• Apply for a marriage license
• Apply to become a Notary Public
• File a military discharge record
• Get a free Veterans ID card
• Register or renew a business name
• Obtain copies of:
  - Birth, death and marriage certificates
  - Oakland County Circuit Court documents
  - Property documents (mortgages, deeds, liens, etc.)
