The National Arab American Bar Association Michigan Chapter will host the NAABA-MI 3rd Annual Gala on Saturday, November 2, beginning at 5:30 p.m. at the Bellagio Banquet Hall, 239000 W. Warren Ave. in Dearborn Heights.
The gala celebrates the Arab American legal community in Michigan. Attendees will have the opportunity to network with law students, practicing attorneys, politicians, judges, and magistrates.
NAABA-MI is pleased to announce that the NAABA-MI 3rd Annual Gala keynote speaker will be Suzanne Sukkar, a U.S. business immigration attorney at Dickinson Wright PLLC. In addition, Sukkar was appointed by Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer to serve on the Commission on Middle Eastern American Affairs (CMEAA), which is one of three ethnic commissions in the State of Michigan. She currently serves as the chair of CMEAA. She is also a past-President of the Women Lawyers Association of Michigan (WLAM), and currently serves on the Board of Trustees of the WLAM Foundation.
